John Jelinek
Managing Partner & Project Manager
John graduated with an associate’s degree in architectural drafting from Northwestern Technical Institute (which is now part of Rasmussen College). He spent fifteen years in residential remodeling, building custom cabinets and real estate. Now, he’s putting his extensive experience to work for you at Norsemen Homes. In his spare time he loves doing anything outdoors including snowmobiling, riding ATVs, motorcycles, boating, and hunting.

I feel incredibly lucky to love my job so much that it hardly feels like work. I mean, I get to spend my days looking at and designing cool homes and checking out cool things like reclaimed barn wood and vintage light fixtures. The best part? Seeing my clients’ faces light up when they see something they love. With 10+ years of industry experience, I am both a realtor and designer with a focus on construction. As your dedicated designer and all-around “concierge” for your building process, my goal is to make sure your home turns out just how you want it to. Another fun fact about me: I’m part of the team at Fox Homes, whose fearless leaders have their own show on HGTV (Stay or Sell). Nope I’m not part of the show, but I do thank my lucky stars that I get to work with such talented people like the Fox’s and Norseman Homes!
